The Britishers introduce 2 bills which are completely anti to the people of India. Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt decide to bomb the parliament with smoke bombs to protest against the bills and then surrender.

    After the heroes of Kakori Vidroh were sentenced by the court, Chandrashekhar Azad took charge of the HRA (Hindustan Socialist Association) and started searching for young and daring revolutionaries who would not hesitate to die for the country for its freedom from the British. His efforts lead him to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Bhagwaticharan Vora, Durga Bhabhi and many such dynamic personalities. It was Bhagat Singh’s philosophy of republic, which made HRA into HSRA. During a protest against the Simon Commission, Lala Lajpat Rai was fatally beaten up by a British officer. To avenge Lalji’s death Bhagat Singh and team plan to eliminate Scott, the officer who ordered the lathi charge. Instead of Scott, another officer Saunders gets killed.

    Captain Dundas and Captain Nevil set on the second Bebejiya expedition in March 1914 to capture Taji and Ponge and to finish the Mishmi Tribe, but were unsuccessful in their mission. In 1917, they caught Taji Dele in assam, built a false case against him and executed him. In November 1918, Ponge Dele organised a raid to avenge the killing of Taji Dele on the military outpost in Nizamghat. The third and final Bebejiya expedition of December 1920 under Captain R. P. Abigail and Lieutenant J. M. Grant descended on Elope village on 9 December & Ponge Dele was finally killed during this expedition.

  • Taji Dele & Ponge Dele - Part 1 EP-47

    Taji Dele and Ponge Dele belonged to the Bebejiya Mishmi Tribe, residing in Elope village on the Mishmi Hills of Arunachal Pradesh, they were cousins, Ponge being the elder of the two. In 1899, the first British military expedition led by the Assistant political officer, Joseph F. Needham attacked the Mishmi Hills in order to grab their land and enhance their tea production , Ponge Dele, Ekhrome and Malu Mimi were arrested and Ekhrome had a dramatic escape. Joseph was reprimanded for his doing and Ponge and Ekrome were released. Ponge Dele avenged his imprisonment later on by raiding Sadiya in July 1905 by killing British subjects in Dikrang Block House and setting military stockades on fire along with Taji Dele.

    Born On 23rd Dec 1730, Mahadji Shinde became the king of Gwalior in the year 1768. He was instrumental in restoring the Maratha rule in North India and modernising his army. He skilfully defeated the British army led by Colonel Egerton at Wadgoan and compelled him to sign a treaty, which was not well taken by the then British Governor General Warren Hastings. He repeatedly sent his armies to defeat Mahadji when the later refused to give up, but Warren Hastings was finally forced to sign the peace treaty of Saraighat when Major Camac, Captain Phopham and Col Murre along with their armies were collectively defeated by Mahadji.

  • Wazir Ramsingh Pathania EP-45

    Ram Singh Pathania was born on 10 April 1824. His father was the minister of the king of Nurpur. After the death of the king, the British tried to grab Nurpur under the Doctrine of Lapse law as his son was a minor merely for a petty sum of five thousand Rupees which was not approved by Wazir Ramsingh Pathania. He gathered forces and revolted against the British. The British conspired against Ramsingh and arrested him when he went for his ritual worship on a particular day, all alone and unarmed. He was sent to Rangoon unmercifully tortured. He achieved Martyrdom on November 11, 1849, just at the age of 24.
