• Episode 29: Mike Has The Flu
    Sep 24 2024

    Hey guys,

On this weeks episode Mike is pretty under the weather, but we had a chat about our recent trip to the lakes which was our first little holiday of the year, which leads us into talking about the ups and downs of being self employed when it comes to slowing down or switching off! We hope you enjoy!

  • Episode 28 : We got hacked…
    Sep 17 2024

    Hey guys,

So we had a bit of bad news last week, our Instagram account got hacked and we were forced to delete it. This was quite a blow for us as we’d spent this whole year trying to grow it into something we felt proud of, a place for positivity and promoting our podcast and a space for us to create something together.

However, would it be the keep growing podcast if we didn’t use this as an opportunity to grow through challenges and difficulties?? We think not!

So in today’s episode we go into what happened and what we’re doing next!

thanks for being here (unless you’re the hackers x)

  • Episode 27: “A lovely little catch up with us”
    Sep 10 2024
This weeks episode is a bit of a general catch up with us on what we’ve been up to, including a chat about our relationship with social media and how it’s changed as well as how we might separate ourselves from our work/art and if that’s even possible as a creative when so much of your life is consumed by your passion projects.

  • Episode 26: “Should We Stay Or Should We Go?”
    Sep 4 2024

    Howdy folks,

For the last few episodes we’ve been answering some of your dilemmas and agony aunt sessions, but this time we need your advice…

For the first time in a while we’ve got one of those big life changing decisions to make, and it seems like there’s no right or wrong path to take. We thought we’d use this episode to chat about some things that are going on in our lives, specifically about a potential move for us from our flat we’ve lived in for the past 7 years, and the possibility of us moving back home…

Let us know what your thoughts are - we’d really appreciate your advice!

As always thanks for being here,

    Mike + Meg

  • Episode 25 | “Do We have Roommate Syndrome?”
    Aug 27 2024

Mike and I have lived together now for the best part of 9 years, sometimes with family, sometimes with roommates and sometimes just the two of us and today we sit down to chat about “Roommate Syndrome”. What is it? Why is it a hot topic? Is it healthy etc? We dive into our own relationship and analyse how we have fallen into traps of living like roommates, but also share the things we do to keep the spark and sense of adventure alive as a couple who are very much in love but also very (too??) comfortable around eachother. Let us know what elements of roommate syndrome you think are healthy vs unhealthy and thanks for listening!

  • Episode 24 | “Pursuing the paper 💰 VS pursuing the passion 💜”
    Aug 20 2024

You know what time it is!

It’s advice hour on the poddy.

This week we got asked by a friend of ours how one might deal with the age old question of how to earn a living from your passion, and should you? What do we do when we have all these interests, hobbies, projects, passions, but our time is mostly spent doing a job we don’t necessarily enjoy because money makes the world go round? How do you balance doing something you love vs doing something that pays and should you have hobbies and interests that you don’t use as an income in the age of the side-hustle.

We really really enjoyed this one, it’s a topic we could talk about for hours and we hope you enjoyed some of our thoughts and ideas about how it could be doable to have your cake and eat it too!

    thanks for listening,

  • Episode 23 | “I think me and my friends are on different wavelengths…”
    Aug 15 2024

Your agony aunt and uncle have entered the chat…

We got some anonymous questions asking us for some advice about what to do when you get the feeling that you and your friends aren’t quite on the same wavelength anymore, and we try to give our thoughts and tips on how we might deal with a situation like this, but I think everyone in their 20s has definitely experienced this so you’re not alone! We also answer a bit more of a specific question about what to do when an in-law is rude to you and your partner doesn’t stick up for you, which really got us thinking about red flags in relationships and how deep some issues can be rooted when it comes to family.

We really hope that our advice was helpful to you and anyone that might have experienced something similar and thank you for sending in your questions and dilemmas for us to chime in to!

    thanks for listening guys,

  • Episode 22: “Looks or Personality?”
    Aug 6 2024

We’re back for season 3 and this time… it’s personal! Literally, we’re getting personal by answering your anonymous questions and offering up our (non-expert) advice. We wanted a way to actually connect and communicate more with you guys and even though it’s anonymous we hope that we can provide some level of comfort or help with anything you’ve got going on, and isn’t that what these things are all about??

This week we answer a question about what’s more important in a partner: looks or personality? It feels like a no brained but we dug a little deeper to figure out what the perfect recipe for a perfect partner is and it’s actually not what we expected!

thanks so much for being here guys,
