Part one focuses on the background to the translations undertaken by Julius Nyerere: liberation hero, political philosopher and the first president of independent Tanzania. Director of the Tsikinya-Chaka Centre, Chris Thurman, introduces two experts on the subject: Kimani Njogu and Serena Talento.
