As the name of the podcast suggests, Kulasatri is best defined as an archetypal Thai woman in the intersectionality of Thai society. Our podcast is an ongoing bold examination of Thai social and current issues in modern day context. Through this, we hope to stimulate healthy and open-ended discussions that lead to a more equitable and empathetic society.     Our first episode begins with a conversation of new-found celebrity, personal identity and disability rights in Thailand with our first guest being none other than one of our hosts and co-founder, Sanpiti(Sandee) Sittipunt. In this episode, Sandee introduces us to the formation of the podcast, its mission statement and what values and core beliefs it stands for. It is interwoven with his own personal stories and struggles of being an impaired person in Thailand, handling his recent fame and his battle with mental health issues such as depression and self-loathing as well as weight loss and toxic masculinity. In the end, Kulasatri is all about untangling the cloth--fashioning a voice for all people in Thailand that is bold, eloquent and confident towards an equitable, empathetic and mature society.
