• A Young Lady Gets Body Shamed By Her Boyfriend And Ask Me What Should She Do?
    Dec 20 2025

"Your face is okay, but your body is fat and ugly." Imagine hearing these words from the person who is supposed to love you most. In this episode, we provide Christian dating advice for women who are facing the painful reality of body shaming in a relationship.

We dive into a message from a listener who has struggled with her confidence after her partner of four years attacked her appearance over a 10lb weight gain. If you are wondering how to handle body shaming or searching for signs of emotional and verbal abuse, this episode is for you.

    The Real Talk Response

We don’t sugarcoat the truth: when a man degrades, disrespects, or demoralizes you, he is exhibiting the signs of a toxic boyfriend. We discuss how to begin building self-worth after verbal abuse and why the expectations you set for yourself dictate how others treat you.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Identifying Toxic Patterns: How to spot a liar, a manipulator, or someone who is simply using you.

    • Healing from Toxic Relationships: Why you must value your self-worth enough to walk away from someone who doesn't see your value.

    • Waiting on God’s Best: Understanding that a sincere, honest man will honor you and seek a committed marriage rather than tearing you down.

    The Biblical Standard

We wrap up by answering the question: What does the Bible say about how a man should treat a woman? By looking at 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV), we establish the Godly standards for any relationship. True love does not dishonor others; it protects, trusts, and perseveres. This is the foundation for building Godly esteem and finding a partner who loves you selflessly.

How TikTok Can Sabotage Your Relationship

TikTok’s fast-paced content can subtly distort your view of love and partnership. From promoting unrealistic expectations to encouraging self-centered behavior, the platform often replaces sound, timeless wisdom with "trendy" advice that lacks depth.

By prioritizing ego and instant gratification over selflessness and spiritual foundations, social media can groom users to adopt toxic traits like gaslighting or entitlement—ultimately devaluing the hard work required for a lasting, healthy marriage.

Paraphrase-ly, Jesus said be anxious for nothing because even a sparrow will find nourishment to sustain itself by means of the Lord, nonetheless it will still put forth the effort in trying to find food and nourishment. While millions of men, women, and children abroad are starving or wondering when they will obtain their next meal.Nonetheless, in America most have the basic necessity of life, yet some people are still not grateful, content nor satisfied.See the mindset of a lot of Americans especially the ones with self-entitled mindset have been swayed by the negative, unrealistic, and ungodly social media platforms, entertainment, movies, podcasts, talk show hosts, etc that tell them to make it about self without humility, contentment, gratitude, so forth. Plus, they will neglect and criticize the ones that is entirely the opposite of what they are adhering and subjecting themselves too.As well, there is nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself but it should be done within the criteria of humility, contentment, and selflessness not selfishness, ungratefulness, and the me myself and I syndrome.Because no matter how much money, materialism, or wealth that a person can potentially obtain, it won’t satisfy an unsatisfied-able person that lack contentment.See, it is the little things like how you treat others and vice versa. In addition, kindness, respect, appreciation, humility, affection, quality and quantity time together within reason. If money and materialism was the answer then there would be no divorce among the financial elite and other married couple in the top 1 to 5 percent, plus upper middle class. So don’t get duped by the facade and hyped narrative by crash and burn gurus, celebrities, entertainers, athletes, and so forth. On contrary I am not saying all gurus, celebrities, entertainers, athletes are crash and burn but many are so you need to use Godly discernment who you allow to influence, sway, and mentor you.#relationships #dating #realtalk #relationships #maleandfemale #husbandandwife #maritaladvice #relationshipadvice

  • Did You Know About These Three Heart Attack Myths?
    Dec 12 2025
Did You Know About These Three Heart Attacks Myths? Here are 3 myths that can interfere with your understanding of your risk for heart attack: 1. Heart attacks happen only to people with heart disease. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Sadly, also, people who do not have diagnosed underlying heart disease are more likely to die after a first heart attack than a patient who is under treatment. This is why early diagnosis is so important. 2. People with severe heart disease are more likely to suffer heart attacks. While we used to believe this was true, research that the new plaque that forms within the heart's coronary arteries is more likely to rupture and form a heart attack-causing blood clot than old fatty deposits that have calcified and hardened. 3. Chest pain is the only symptom of a heart attack. This is not the case. As well, there are other symptoms as well, including: * Chest pressure * Pain radiating to the neck, shoulders and down the arm * Back pain * Shortness of breath either during exercise or at rest * Pale complexion or sweating * Nausea, vomiting, or excessive burping * Profound feeling of weakness If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should go to the ER or in more dire situations call 911. Plus, schedule an appointment with your primary care physician and voice your concerns asap with him or her. It could be the difference between life or death if it is not your appointed time to go in correlation to your freewill and choice on how you take care of your health and receive medical care. A majority of the information in this podcast episode is attributed to Chauncey Crandall, M.D. Directive of Preventive Medicine at Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic From his book, The Simple Heart Cure The 90 Day Program To Stop And Reverse Heart Disease.
