  • 24. Herpes Happens
    Feb 11 2026

Herpes. Yep. We said it out loud. A word that can trigger panic, shame spirals, and frantic Googling… but what if we told you it's also extremely common, very misunderstood, and not the relationship-ending disaster pop culture makes it out to be?

In this episode of Labia Logic, Dr. Ashley Fuller and Dr. Meredith McClure tell us why herpes happens. And also why it should come with way less stigma than it does.

Ashley and Meredith explain the difference between HSV-1 and HSV-2, how transmission actually works, and why routine herpes screening isn't recommended, even when you're begging your doctor to "test me for everything."

You'll learn how herpes is diagnosed correctly, why antivirals like valacyclovir are effective and low-drama, how to reduce outbreaks and transmission, and what to know about dating, disclosure, pregnancy, and newborn safety.

Herpes is manageable, common, and absolutely not a moral failing—just a skin virus with a wildly overinflated reputation. From myths to medicine, this episode delivers relief, realism, and a much-needed dose of Labia Logic.

  • 23. Good Vibrations. A Beginner's Guide to a Buzztastic O
    Jan 28 2026

Ever wondered if a vibrator could be your new favorite wellness tool? And which one is the "right" one anyway?

In this episode of Labia Logic Dr. Meredith McClure and Dr. Ashley Fuller dive headfirst into the world of pleasure with zero shame, lots of laughs, and a reminder that orgasm is a learned skill, not a magic trick you missed in sex ed.

The hosts welcome Elizabeth Leister of Vitality Within, a sexual wellness coach who helps women navigate vibrators, tools, and sexual pleasure with clarity and compassion. Together, they explain why sexual health is health, how pleasure connects to blood flow, hormones, menopause, postpartum changes, and long-term relationships, and why using tools isn't "cheating," it's teamwork.

From beginner-friendly vibes to suction tech, rabbits, rings, and the legendary wand, they explain what's out there and who each option might help.

Bottom line? Pleasure should be playful, empowering, and fun. Whether you're flying solo, spicing up date night, or just curious, this episode proves that good vibrations really are good medicine.

    About our Guest:

Elizabeth Leister: I began my career as a teacher. At the same time, I was coaching girls in Junior OlympicVolleyball clubs. I moved on from teaching and transitioned into specialty pharmaceutical sales. I continued coaching for many years. After my second child was born, I spent 14 years at home as a stay-at-home mom, where my knowledge and passion for all things fitness and nutrition grew and developed. In this time, I was able to educate and coach many women in nutrition and fitness. After recognizing an unmet need in women's health around sexual wellness, I started Vitality Within to help fill this gap, while at the same time keeping the conversation around nutrition and fitness all tied into sexual health.

  • 22. Labia Logic Goes to O-School
    Jan 14 2026

In this episode of Labia Logic, Dr. Ashley Fuller and Dr. Meredith McClure are kicking off January by diving headfirst into orgasms, because women's sexual pleasure still doesn't get nearly enough airtime.

From awkward silence to Hollywood myths, they ask the big questions we're all thinking: Why don't we talk about this more? Who do you even ask when something isn't working? And why did no one cover this in OB-GYN residency?

The good news: if orgasms are elusive, you're not broken, and you're definitely not alone.

This episode covers what orgasms actually are: a full-body, full-brain event involving nerves, blood flow, hormones, pelvic floor muscles, and neurotransmitters. Oh and yes, the brain! The biggest sex organ of all.

Ashley and Meredith are talking about common myths like penetration-only orgasms, explaining the infamous orgasm gap, and calling out pop culture for setting wildly unrealistic expectations. They even explain why faking orgasms happens, how it backfires, and why pleasure ≠ performance.

This episode lays the groundwork for how to troubleshoot, optimize, and reclaim pleasure. Everyone deserves a sex life that's satisfying, shame-free, and actually enjoyable. Homework encouraged.
