A big thank you to all in law enforcement who did such a phenomenal job in the Colleyville, TX, synagogue hostage incident! Some takeaways to consider going forward to make direct lines of communication even better.

We are continuing to learn about influencing our communities for the kingdom of God. With the knowledge gained, put action to what the Lord is showing you to do. As you keep your heart right and desire to serve and help, you will become an influencer. 

Although you may start out small, Zechariah 4:10 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…” (NLT). 

Leave behind your concern about people not listening to you. Godly influence will eventually save lives, as was the case in the lives of people like Daniel, Joseph and Esther in the Bible. God always uses godly men and women to he01  times of crisis. He will use you!

God uses relationships to bring influence. Commitment to be used by Him in your community will open doors of opportunity. Put your own agenda aside and walk through them with a willing and open heart to serve. Allow the Lord to use you to truly bless others. He will reward you with wonderful relationships and sincere influence you never thought possible. Be willing to serve, and watch God work!
