In January 2023, Kay faced a health crisis.

Despite multiple ER visits and rehab stays, her condition worsened until a life-saving surgery was performed. Throughout this time, their church community provided unwavering support, offering prayers, meals, and assistance with household tasks. Al, though initially overwhelmed, found strength through the encouragement and presence of others, while Kay experienced peace through God’s presence.

Their journey emphasized the importance of faith, community, and accepting help in times of crisis.
