  • Episode 80: GameBoy Advance
    Feb 13 2026

The GameBoy Advance is turning 25 later this year and we wanted to revisit Nintendo's iconic portable gaming successor to talk about its biggest games and hidden gems. The original GameBoy had one of the longest lifespans of any console and helped Nintendo dominate portable gaming for multiple generations. The GBA finally released 12 years after its predecessor and was an instant hit thanks to its strong game library and because it was essentially a portable SNES with even more 3D capabilities. I take you through its inception in the mid-90s as "Project Atlantis" and it's much-anticipated launch before Deucy and I revisit the GBA's most significant games and some of our favorite hidden gems.

  • Episode 79: Our Top 10 First-Person Shooters
    Jan 30 2026

This week's episode is a listener request! DilutedThought on Instagram sent a message and shared his Top 10 First-Person Shooters EVER and asked that we do an entire episode talking about Our Top 10 First Person-Shooters. FPS games have been among the most-played and top-selling genres over the last 30 years and this list was insanely difficult with such a broad topic. We, of course, have a lengthy list of games we have as honorable mentions that we had to talk through before we get to our individual Top 10's. Let us know what we missed or what is on YOUR list by emailing us or finding us on Instagram. Feel free to also email us with episode ideas or things you might want to hear from us!

  • Episode 78: 35 Years of Sonic on the Genesis (with Juan)
    Jan 16 2026

It might be shocking to hear, but Sonic the Hedgehog was released 35 years ago this year! The iconic blue blur's debut did the impossible when it pushed Sega to unbelievable heights and toppled Nintendo as the console market leader in the early 90's. I'll take you through where Sega and Nintendo were between the Genesis' 1989 launch and Sonic's Summer 1991 release. We're covering the development and history of the original trilogy (& Knuckles) and Sonic CD so check it out and let us know what you think!
