On this episode of Let's Be Honest the podcast. I share my personal reflections of my previous birthday. This is the last year of my 20's and I don't think we talk enough about the amount of grieving that takes place as you close out certain chapters of one's life.

I didn't know that turning 29 would hit me this hard but I also didn't know how much God would bless me and remind me that He is for me. Sometimes we think our best years were in the past but sis and bro, our best years are just getting started! Tune in with me.

This particular episode is about my journey towards officially no longer drinking liquor. Liquor a point in my life when I was just really starting to experience the world. Liquor became way of fun, but also escapism.

So now I speak to you from the perspective of the journey and how God is a part of that journey and how there is a pace for that journey. Some things in life you just cut off cold turkey because God is giving Grace to do that but then there’s other things that take a little bit more time and that’s OK too.

On this episode of let’s be honest the podcast, we are diving into the idea in the reality of growing through it. We all have issues we all have struggles, but nobody knows off of first glance the things that we have already grown through.

Sometimes when people look at us, they may see the things that we are currently growing through now, but they don’t know the story. They don’t know the challenges. They don’t know what God has been working in us all this time.

There are things that I used to struggle with in my younger years and as I’ve gotten older, I have the privilege of being able to look back and see that the things that had me bound then but now I am conquering over now.

So it’s important that we don’t judge where someone is currently, because for all we know they could be living in their next level.
