• S2E8: What Being Broke Taught Me About Wealth: Financial Health, Stability, and Chasing Peace Instead of More
    Feb 2 2026

    Send us a text

In this episode, I’m sharing what seasons of being financially stretched taught me about money, stability, and what it actually means to be wealthy. We talk about the difference between accumulation and peace, how scarcity can shape (and misshape) our relationship with finances, and why financial health is just as much about emotional and spiritual posture as it is about numbers.

This isn’t a get-rich-quick conversation or a shame-filled budgeting lecture. It’s an honest reflection on learning contentment, redefining success, and choosing peace over pressure in a culture that constantly tells us more is better.

If you’ve ever felt behind, anxious about money, or confused about what “enough” really looks like—this episode is for you.

    Scriptures:

    • “Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5)
    • “Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.” (Proverbs 15:16)
    • “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost?” (Luke 14:28)
    • "But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into thetreasury than all the others. " (Mark 12:41-44)
    • “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.” (Proverbs 21:20)
    • “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
    • “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)

  • S2E7: Renovating Your Faith - When Reading the Bible Feels Hard & What Jesus Does With Your Doubt
    Jan 15 2026

    Send us a text

We're kicking off our Pillars of Life series with a talk about Spiritual Health, specifically when reading the Bible feels heavy, distant, or even anxiety-producing. If that's you, you are not broken — and you are not alone.

In this honest episode, we talk about what to do when spiritual routines that once felt life-giving begin to feel hard, disingenuous, or overwhelming. If you’ve ever felt shame, doubt, or tension around your quiet time, your faith, or the Church, this conversation is for you.

We explore the cyclical nature of faith, why seasons of doubt and questioning are not failures but invitations, and what it looks like to approach your spiritual life with curiosity instead of condemnation. We'll talk about what I call “spiritual maintenance and renovation,” and a deeply personal story about how trauma, church hurt, and nervous-system responses can shape the way we experience Scripture.

Most of all, this episode is a reminder that Jesus is not afraid of your questions — and He meets doubt with compassion, patience, and love.

If your faith feels tired, tender, or in need of repair, you are invited to take a deep breath, step inside, and walk through it together.

  • S2E4: A Christmas Blessing (& Some Permission to be In Process)
    Dec 17 2025

    Send us a text

At one week before Christmas, come take some breaths of fresh air with me. This time is for YOU to enjoy, too! Let's go softly and let the joy, celebration, feasting, and thankfulness expand and spill over into these last days of the year. No need to go hard, exhaust, overextend, and come out on the other end depleted, resentful, or disassociated.

In this episode I discuss some thoughts about the 12 Days of Christmas (guess what? it's NOT the 12 days leading up to Christmas!), Epiphany, taking the glorious, Jesus-bought permission to grow, evolve, and be on a journey of change as individuals. THAT takes bravery!

I also celebrate that this year, the Let's Talk Life podcast went from dreamy idea to a realized pursuit of creativity, connection, and community. THANK YOU for being here!

Let's shift from pressure to purpose in holiday gifting. This episode is an invitation to take a breather from the frantic mind-chatter of gift-giving, and to become more present-minded and embodied in the process of showing our people how much we appreciate them.

In gift-giving, we RECEIVE the gift of pausing, cultivating gratitude, and love-gushing the people God has put in our lives. After all, what's better than feeling like someone thought of you and wanted to give you some joy??

    Dec 3 2025

(Trigger Warning: mentions eating disorders, body dysmorphia, abuse -- not suitable for children)

In this episode I talk about a recent trip to Great Wolf Lodge, and take a little trip into body image, especially as a postpartum mom of 4. I discuss the common experience of women: that our worth gets wrapped up in our body's appearance. But what I know to be true in this very moment is that your body is worthy RIGHT NOW -- worthy of fun, kindness, honor, and love.

Let's move through the next few weeks with softness, especially in a time of year in which there is a lot of noise about food, diets, calories, and size. I bless you with a little extra heaping side of grace for ourselves and others.
