  • Sunday Service: True Riches - Pastor Jeff Young
    Jan 26 2026

What does the Bible say about true wealth?
In a culture obsessed with money and success, Scripture offers a radically different definition of riches. True wealth isn’t measured by what’s in your bank account, but by godliness paired with contentment.

Many Americans are weighed down by debt while chasing financial security, yet the Bible warns that the love of money leads to spiritual harm. The Apostle Paul reminds us that we brought nothing into this world—and we can take nothing out—so real riches are found in trusting God, not accumulating more.

Jesus highlights this truth in the story of the widow’s mite, showing that God values the heart behind our giving far more than the amount given. Whether you’re struggling financially or experiencing abundance, we’re all called to hold money with open hands, trust God with our resources, and live with contentment rooted in Him.

  • Sunday Service: Renewal Through Prayer & Fasting - Pastor Chris Reyes
    Jan 19 2026

Prayer and fasting are pathways to spiritual renewal that strengthen our relationship with God. We were created in God's image for intimate fellowship with Him, not just obedience. When we become disconnected from God, we often struggle with compartmentalization—living differently in various contexts despite our beliefs. Prayer offers multiple benefits: it builds relationship with God, restores our humanity, brings wisdom, cleanses us from hurt and sin, and transforms our minds. Developing a daily prayer discipline helps us stay connected to God like branches to a vine, enabling us to naturally produce spiritual fruit in our lives.

  • Sunday Service: A Worthy Life - Pastor Jeff Young
    Jan 12 2026

Jesus calls us to live a worthy life that reflects the high price He paid for our salvation. Through His letters to the seven churches in Revelation, we see the dangers of spiritual lukewarmness and compromise that threaten our faith. The church in Laodicea thought they were rich but were actually spiritually poor, while churches like Pergamum and Thyatira struggled with tolerating sin. In contrast, the faithful churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia persevered through suffering and persecution by keeping God's Word and never denying His name. Living worthily means inviting Jesus into every area of our lives, maintaining biblical boundaries while loving others, and growing in spiritual maturity while keeping childlike faith.
