According to the World Health Organization, sexual health is fundamental to overall health and well-being of individuals, couples and families. It is also important to the social and economic development of communities and countries. The National Coalition for Sexual Health states that sexual health encompasses having a healthier body, valuing and feeling good about yourself, having a peace of mind and experiencing intimacy, pleasure and joy. In light of the aforementioned sexual health seems to be an important element in having and maintaining a healthy and productive life.
