    On this week’s episode of Live From West End, Sports Editor Henry Oelhafen and Sports Podcast Producer Tristan Rutman are joined in the studio by Deputy Sports Editor Jack Frutkin to break down the current state of Vanderbilt Athletics. The trio recaps the men's basketball team's defeat of Texas A&M in Memorial Gymnasium before previewing contests against Missouri on the road and Tennessee at home. They transition to some women's hoops, where the 'Dores took down No. 4 Texas but fell to No. 24 Georgia on the road, and will face off against No. 16 Kentucky on Sunday. They move into discussing baseball, where the VandyBoys went just 1-2 at the Shriner's College Showdown, but dominated the first game of their midweek series against Eastern Michigan. The Commodores will play the Eagles again on Wednesday, ahead of their weekend series against Marist.
