    One of the hardest things is for me to do is to sit still and let the Lord work in my situation. Chapter 3 of Ruth gives us an excellent example of working and waiting. Waiting is not passive, it’s intentionally removing yourself from the outcome and creating space for God to move. What are you waiting for? Ruth 3:18 “Then she said, "Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out."

Ruth will meet a close relative of Naomi’s that will turn their situation. All the while, God is working behind the scenes to accomplish His will for one who has taken “refuge" under His wings. 2:12 The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”
