About this listen

Living Reconciled, hosted by Mission Mississippi, is a podcast dedicated to exploring reconciliation and the Gospel that enables us to live it out. Mission Mississippi has been leading the way in racial reconciliation in Mississippi for 31 years. Our model is to bring people together to build relationships across racial lines so they can work together to better their communities. Our mission is to encourage and demonstrate grace in the Body of Christ across racial lines so that communities throughout Mississippi can see practical evidence of the gospel message.

  • EP. 93: Living Reconciled as the Family of God
    Feb 18 2026

We would love to hear from you! Send us a text message.

What if the “family of God” isn’t a metaphor - but your most concrete identity? In this episode, we explore how the gospel turns strangers into siblings and why family is God’s blueprint for healing division across racial and cultural lines. From Genesis and Abraham to Romans 8 and Ephesians 2–4, we trace how Jesus’ blood creates a people who belong to each other before we agree with each other.

We also name what makes family hard - old wounds, lazy labels, mixed motives - and the difference between unity talk and unity practice. Finally, we offer simple, practical steps you can take this week to live reconciled as God’s family, even when it costs something.

  • EP. 92: Faith, Real Estate, And Reconciliation with Corey Deyamport
    Feb 4 2026

We would love to hear from you! Send us a text message.

What if the most powerful witness is simply a life well lived? In this episode, Brian and Neddie talk with worship leader, pastor, and real estate broker Corey Deyamport about how hospitality drew him to Christ and now shapes the way he serves neighbors through his work.

Corey offers honest insight into modern housing challenges and why presence and representation matter. Grounded in Ephesians 2, this conversation reminds us that reconciliation is already secured in Christ - and we’re called to live it out by learning to neighbor well in every space.

  • EP. 91: Inside the Mississippi Legislative Prayer Breakfast
    Jan 12 2026

We would love to hear from you! Send us a text message.

Polarization is exhausting, but prayer changes the tone. In this episode, we share the story behind the 10th Mississippi Legislative Prayer Breakfast and why, for a decade, gathering to pray with legislators, not posture or persuade, has created space for unity across race, denomination, and party.

Neddie Winters and the Mission Mississippi team reflect on how shared prayer builds trust, softens division, and opens the door to real relationships. We also preview this year’s step of faith: gathering at First Baptist Church in Jackson and walking to the Capitol to pray together on the South Lawn.
