I hit a big milestone in my business a couple of weeks ago. Exactly 2 weeks ago actually.

It's crazy because it was a goal I've had for a while, and it's a big deal to me, and a huge honor…. and yet I couldn't find the emotional bandwidth to really celebrate it when it happened.

The day before it happened, I woke up to find out that one of my closest friends had been killed in a motorcycle accident.

He was my go-to, and he probably would have been the first person to celebrate this milestone with me.

So, when it happened and he wasn't there, it caused a big pit in my stomach, an enormous wave of grief, and I also had the happy feelings associated with the milestone all at the same time. I felt like my heart was going to explode because I wasn't sure what to feel.

The other day, my friend Robin reached out to me to congratulate me on this accomplishment. She had heard the company owners mention it on one of our masterminds.

She said,

"Have you been celebrating it? I haven't seen you talking about it anywhere."

That's when I realized I hadn't been able to give it the celebration that it deserves.

I am a huge believer in taking the time to celebrate all of our wins, big and small, along the way on our journeys… and I was not doing that. Robin's message was a wake up call for me.

My friend Gio had also reached out to me right after it happened, to congratulate me and to also ask a few questions about my journey in getting here.

Our conversation contained a lot of really good insights about the way I build my business, and a lot of the differences between the way I do it and the things I believe in that are much different than the way some others build their businesses and work toward their goals.

So, I thought I'd share some of those thoughts with you in today's episode, in case they may help someone else.

In this episode, I am joined by Dianna Nicole.

Dianna is a speaker, singer, consultant and online business strategist who blends real life resilience with practical results-driven strategy.

After going through an unanticipated divorce and becoming a single mom, Dianna found herself in her forties and in a position where she needed to find a way to generate enough income to support her family. She put her head down and was able to go from $0 to $1 million on TikTok in just 6 months.

During our conversation, Dianna shared a lot about her TikTok journey, and how she was able to create her level success in just one hour per day. She shared about how that was just the beginning, and how her business has grown in many different ways and directions since then.

She also shared a lot about her passion for making a difference in the world while she's here, and the way she does this by living out loud and sharing her story as she goes.

She spoke about her passion for singing and how she incorporates her songs into every keynote speech that she gives, as well as her philosophy about becoming 1% happier every day.

During the interview she stated,

"I'm just trying to use every single gift that I have to change the world before I die."

Dianna is truly an inspiration and a powerhouse. We can all learn a lot from her perspective on life.

Happy New Year…

I hope your year is off to a great start. I love the energy of a new year, the feeling of a fresh start, a blank canvas.

As I've been setting my intentions for the new year, I've also been having to make some big decisions in my life.

One of my secret weapons when it comes to decision making is automatic writing.

I'm a huge believer in trusting your gut and listening to your heart and following your intuition.

And, although I've gotten better at this over the years as I've worked on it, sometimes I still feel a little conflicted or unclear and I need a little help.

That's where automatic writing comes in.

Automatic writing, for me, is a practice that allows me to call on my guides, angels, and ancestors for help when I need it. And it always, without fail, blows me away how clear I feel after I do it.

In this episode, I will walk you through an example of my automatic writing practice. I'll show you exactly what I did to get help with a big decision that I had to make recently.

I started off feeling unclear, and came out of the exercise feeling completely confident and sure… which, as I said, is very typical for me when I implement automatic writing.
