Jenny Berg is the Executive Director of The Leadership Council for Nonprofits. Her passion is to help nonprofit agencies become more impactful. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards including Impact 100, a women’s grant making organization which has awarded over $5M back into the community through grants of at least $100,000. She talks about what it means to be a philanthropist and how BOLD (Board Orientation + Leadership Development) is a great start for anyone wanting to get involved with the Cincinnati community.

Elisa Hoffman is the Founder and Executive Director of School Board School. She is a parent, former teacher, and education advocate who has worked for over twenty years on issues of educational equity, including serving a four-year term on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education. She talks about how we need to train people in good governance before they run for office.

Soroya Smith is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Experience Designer for Mason City Schools. She talks about why she became an educator and what led her to her current role. She has some big goals for the school year and wants everyone to know that curiosity can override fear.
