    Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles is worshipped during every day and more so during Ganesh Navaratri. This year the festivities are starting on September 19 and the Khairatabad idol is going to stand tall at 51 feet and a traditional ‘Karra Puja’ was done on May 31, to start sculpting the idol that will be worshipped by crores of devotees.

    The Bonalu festivities are unique to Telangana and they are starting on June 22 in the month of Ashada. The first bonam will be offered to Goddess Ellamma in Golconda fort and the Goddess Mahankali in Secunderabad will receive Bonalu from Her devotees on July 9. The Rangam where future is predicted is scheduled on July 10.

    Zora pub in Hyderabad was raided by police after videos of animals like King Cobra, Big Lizard went viral. Housed in cages, these animals were allegedly sold to the customers without permission from the respective authorities. The pub owners were arrested by the police.

    Hyderabad has become notorious for stray dogs. In a recent incident, a 5-year-old body Abdul Rafi was bitten by a dog and is getting treated in the hospital.

    A drone that fell into the fields in Nalgonda district sent the locals into dizzy. However, it was later revealed that the drone belonged to a company which was doing an aerial survey from Kakinada to Gujarat for a gas pipeline.

    The layoff galore is continuing with Google, Microsoft, Meta and other big companies still serving pink slips to their employees. These companies sacked around 48,000 workers in the months of April and May. Amazon’s proposal to work from office received great protest from the employees with them walking out of their premises in the name of Walk of Job.

    Mission Chandrayaan -3 will be launched in July. If everything goes as per the schedule, the Chandrayaan spacecraft will leave into the space on July 12 and is expected to lunar touchdown on August 23. The spacecraft Chandrayaan-3, consisting of an indigenous lander module, a propulsion module and a rover, is aimed at developing and demonstrating new technologies required for interplanetary missions.

    Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

    Telangana turns 10 this month and the government is leaving no stone unturned to launch huge celebrations that would continue for 21 days. CM KCR will inaugurate celebrations in the new secretariat a d pay tributes to martyrs who lost their lives during Telangana movement.

    The city of Hyderabad is all set to add another feather in its cap. The Telangana Martyrs Memorial Park on the banks of Hussain Sagar is being designed at a global level and would remind everyone of their sacrifices during the struggle for separate state.

    With IT companies and other investments flooding Hyderabad, the rentals in the city too are skyrocketing. The city that once wore a deserted look during peak pandemic is now witnessing a sudden surge in rents more than 50% than pre-covid times. Meanwhile, the youth are lapping up the new co-living accommodations owing to facilities and affordability.

    The fish medicine for asthmatic patients will be resumed on June 9, after a gap of three years. It will be distributed by the Battina brothers, known for their fish medicine to cure asthma on the day aligns with Mrugasira Karthe.

    The controversy related to The Kerala Story is causing trouble to the main heroine of the movie Adah Sharma. One of the viewers leaked her personal mobile number on Instagram and she has been receiving enormous amounts of online abuse.

    Even after many years of Uday Kiran’s death, mystery shrouds his entire life. Director Teja in a recent interview about his latest movie Ahimsa, revealed that he still feels super sorry for what Uday Kiran went through his lifetime.

    Crime:

    The city of Hyderabad woke up to the shocking murder of a woman. The police found the head of the deceased near Moosi river and the victim was identified as Yerram Anu Radha. She was murdered by her live-in partner, who later chopped off her body into pieces and kept it in the fridge.

    International:

A poor father from Madhya Pradesh literally threw this one year old son on to the stage to grab attention from the Chief Minister. He did it to urge help for the treatment of his child suffering from congenital heart disease.

    Sunil Gavaskar rushed to get an autograph from Dhoni at CSK match and this moment will be cherished forever.

    Entertainment:

    Prabhas donated Rs 10 lakh to Bhadradri Lord Rama temple and prayed for the success of Adi Purush.

    Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP MLA Raghav Chadha are now engaged and marriage is one the cards, very soon.
