    • Community Matters when you start with why

When you get into the place of my account's been hacked and you know our banks aren't as responsive as they might be in other places, you've got to put a lot of effort into getting that money back or stopping the vulnerability or trying to figure it out. I mean, my wife's gone through that like three times in the last year. It's a challenging scenario. So learning and adapting tools and systems that are going to be safe, make people be able to use their money in the way that they should on a day -to -day basis to facilitate the commerce that's necessary, the economic development, right? We want to spread money around in our communities. We don't want it to go elsewhere. We want to be able to use and spend here is going to now require folks to be involved and educated in the process. There's a move where the central bank of the Bahamas a couple of years ago came up with one of the first digital currencies in the world. Even here in the Bahamas, amazing. Other countries are marveling at this, really using it as an example.

The reason it was developed was to lend money to NASA through gambling houses across the Bahamas.

It's interesting stuff. Speaking of which, I know you recall mentioning price control and we see a lot going on with the... I guess the pricing with the costs and stuff, like price control, the cost of like what's going on in many of the supermarkets and grocery stores. I know we do a lot of importation of getting all of our food items and stateside and having it here. So I mean, for that, like we, okay, so like vegetables, you know, fruits and stuff like that. We already manufacture those here plenty, but we spend so much of our money of getting things from abroad. It's now like a considerably higher cost than ever before. Like eggs right now is like 10 bucks. It was 10 bucks. I mean, just about 10 bucks. And then many other different like, you know, food items all over groceries. So, I mean, what's like something like that? You think, you know, I guess many businesses or people in the community could probably fix it.

The war in Ukraine, the war in the Middle East that are affecting supply chains, the bird flu that's affecting the price of eggs and chicken.
