 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 Many peoples and characters inhabit Tolkien’s world, each with their own particular talents and stories, but all called to travel and fight together. In the same way many people, from different backgrounds and experiences, live in the composite world of Tolkien studies: we are all different, but we can all walk together, as a single Fellowship, on the same road.
We invite you to travel together with us in the Paths of Tolkien, on the One Road: a journey with some of the greatest Tolkien experts, from many different countries. Each entrusted to introduce a character of the Lord of the Rings, with their particular story, struggle, and point of view.

🇮🇹 Nel Signore degli Anelli coesistono tanti popoli e personaggi, con storie e sensibilità molto diverse, ma chiamati a camminare e lottare insieme. Allo stesso modo nel vasto mondo degli appassionati e degli studiosi di Tolkien, ci sono persone provenienti da nazioni, storie, e esperienze molto diverse, ma anch'esse possono camminare insieme sulla stessa strada.
Vi invitiamo a camminare con noi per i Sentieri Tolkieniani, sull’Unica Strada: un viaggio con alcuni dei massimi esperti Tolkieniani, da tanti paesi del mondo. Ciascuno con il compito di introdurre un personaggio del Signore degli Anelli, la sua storia, le sue lotte, e il suo punto di vista particolare.

    Ci aiuta a scoprirlo Giuseppe Pezzini, già professore della Saint Andrews e attualmente professore ad Oxford.
    Curatore della mostra su Tolkien The Tree of Tales che si terrà al meeting di Rimini in agosto ed ha avviato l'insieme degli incontri Many Paths One Road.

    Pipino è, insieme a Merry, uno dei personaggi più sottovalutati della Compagnia: entrambi vengono infatti spesso considerati come l'elemento comico del gruppo. In realtà anche Peregrino Tuc ha una parte importante nella storia e molti sono gli approfondimenti che si possono fare su di lui.
    Ad accompagnarci nella scoperta di questo hobbit sarà Daniele Ormezzano, già conservatore del Museo di Scienze Naturali di Torino, appassionato di Tolkien della prima ora, collaboratore a vario titolo con Sentieri Tolkieniani.
