  • Mead & Cheese: The Final Episode on DemonFM (09/06/2023)
    Jun 15 2024

For the last episode of Mead & Cheese in the DemonFM studio, we are joined by esteemed guests Dan Harrison King, Isaac De May, and Chantelle Small, along with the usual DemonFM Station Manager Maddie Forster and the Lords Corey Kaine West and Thomas Alec Jackson.

We are drinking “Ribena” in the studio while we have some whacky shenanigans including a fight between Tom and Maddie, nobody being able to name Dan King, Corey and Tom’s excellent adventure underneath the DMU Gym.

There is a discussion about everyone’s favourite memories from the 80s.

Following this is the introduction of a new segment, The Unlicenced Football Team Name Game, where the guests must guess which football club is represented by their unlicenced equivalent name from either the PES or FIFA games.

We then have a debate about the usefulness of sundials and whether there was enough room for Jack on the door in Titanic, this leads to a game where we all must act as either Rose or Jack and give our reasons to either be let on the raft or to not let Jack on.

There is a discussion about the time that Matt Hancock almost appeared on Mead & Cheese and then discuss Welsh pirates and then chat about our favourite colours featuring the return of Demon News.

Later in the show we play a game called Mead & Cheese Has Got Talent, introduced by Dan’s wonderful impression of the Britain’s Got Talent voice, where each contestant must present a unique talent to the Mead & Cheese. We also play the Train Game.

  • Dan Harrison King on Mead & Cheese, with discussions about his book Babel Crime: The Beginning (02/06/2023)
    Jun 2 2023

For the 55th episode of Mead & Cheese we are joined in the studio by author Dan Harrison King who is on the show to promote his book Babel Crime: The Beginning, which is an interesting story taking place 200 years in the future, in the fictional city of Babel.

Dan tells us about some of his other artistic endeavours, including novels and screenplays.

We are talking with Dan in great detail about the book and his ideas and inspirations surrounding the world he has created.

Dan also discusses his friendship with musician Kieran Leigh who has been a previous guest on Mead & Cheese.

We also chat about Demon Media’s annual charity livestream RAG, in-which Mead & Cheese hosted a live awards show and Kieran Leigh performed live on-stage.

As Dan is asked about his book, we probe him on the existence of mead and cheese within the Babel Crime universe. Dan also tells us much more great detail about the lore and world of Babel.

Later on the show we debate who sang the ahs in The Beatles song A Day in the Life, before we take pictures in Mead & Cheese hats and discuss our plans for the future of the show.

  • Fanta Special ft. Isaac De May and Angel Hendrickson (26/05/2023)
    May 26 2023

For the 54th Episode of Mead & Cheese we are joined by the highly popular Demon Media member, Isaac De May, who is joining us for the Fanta Special in his signature Fanta shirt.

We are hosting this episode the day before the annual Demon Media Charity Livestream, RAG.

We are giving Isaac De May a taste of the Lyme Bay Garden Mead which has a wonderful minty flavour.

We are all also drinking Fanta Lemon while we discuss our favourite Fanta flavours and discuss the origins of Fanta in World War II Germany.

Isaac De May will then play a game of Pitch-o-Clock where he will pitch to us a new flavour of Fanta.

There is a small debate which calls into question the recent poll about the best show on DemonFM in-which Tom’s Electronics defeated Mead & Cheese by one vote.

Also on the show, we discuss our plans to bring back the Great Cheese War and Isaac gives his insight as to which cheese he believes could win this time.

Then, a returning segment on Mead & Cheese as we play What da Dog Doin’?

Later in the show we are joined by Demon Media’s Angel Hendrickson.
