Press play, repeat after me, and let’s memorize John 14:3 together—“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
Jesus spoke these words in the upper room as the disciples were facing fear, confusion, and uncertainty. He had just told them He was leaving, and their world felt shaken. Yet instead of giving detailed explanations, Jesus gave them a promise.
Notice His words: “I will take you to myself.” The hope Jesus offers is not merely a place—it is His presence. The heart of eternity is being with Him.
Let this verse remind you that life in a broken world will bring disappointment, weariness, and loss, but believers are not without hope. Jesus promises that one day He will gather His people to Himself.
And even now, through prayer and abiding with Him, we begin experiencing the joy we were made for—being with Jesus.
