Do you ever feel like you’re running on empty, but there’s no option to stop?
When was the last time you felt truly rested; not just physically, but mentally too?
Do you wonder why you’re still tired, even when you “do everything right”?
Do you feel like everyone leans on you, but no one asks if you’re okay?

Welcome to Midlife Mom Reset.
This is your space to get your energy back, support your body through perimenopause, and finally feel like yourself again.
I’ll share practical ways to shut off work on time, set healthy boundaries, and enjoy guilt-free time with your kids, your partner, and yourself.
You’ll learn how to heal burnout at the root, with tools for nervous system support, hormone balance, and daily habits that actually work in real life.
Every episode is a reminder that you are not alone and that it’s never too late to reset your health, your energy, and your life.

Hey, I’m Shannon, wife, mom of two, former corporate leader turned small business owner who knows exactly what burnout feels like.
I spent years climbing the corporate ladder, working 12-hour days, and missing out on the life happening right in front of me.
Add in perimenopause, low energy, and the pressure to “do it all,” and I was completely depleted.
I thought working harder was the answer; it wasn’t. Everything changed when I got honest about my hormones, my boundaries, my energy, and my faith.
Now I run my own business, end my day on my terms, and am fully present with my family.

That’s why I created Midlife Mom Reset, to give you the tools, encouragement, and faith-filled clarity to stop surviving and start living again.
If you’re ready to reclaim your energy, set clear boundaries, and build a life that actually feels good in this season of motherhood - this is the podcast for you.
Grab your coffee, take a deep breath, and let’s jump in.

  • 050. Negative Self Talk Is Exhausting You | How to Stop the Spiral and Rebuild Confidence
    May 18 2026

If you are constantly criticizing yourself in your own head… this episode is for you.

Because negative self talk is exhausting more women than they realize.

Not just emotionally. Physically. Mentally. Spiritually too.

In this deeply honest episode of Midlife Mom Reset, Shannon Howard talks about the hidden emotional burnout caused by constant self criticism, internal pressure, perfectionism, and shame. • 048. Bible Verses for Strength When You Feel Weak | Christian Encouragement That Actually Holds
    May 4 2026

If you are tired of weak pep talks and surface level encouragement that sounds nice for five minutes but does not actually help you stand when life gets heavy, this episode is for you.

Because sometimes you do not need another quote.

You do not need someone to tell you to stay positive.

You do not need a cute reminder that everything happens for a reason.

    You need truth that holds.

In this episode of Midlife Mom Reset, Shannon Howard talks about what it means to stand firm when you feel weak, discouraged, tired, or shaken by real life. This is for the woman who has been carrying responsibilities, fighting private battles, holding her family together, trying to stay faithful, and wondering why the encouragement she used to lean on is not enough anymore.

Shannon shares why motivation fades, why emotions cannot be the foundation of your strength, and why Scripture gives you something steady to return to when your circumstances feel unstable.

This episode walks through powerful Bible verses for strength, including Isaiah 40:31, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Joshua 1:9, and Ephesians 6:13, with honest application for midlife women, moms, and Christian women who are tired of pretending they are fine.

If you feel weak right now, this episode is not here to shame you.

It is here to remind you that weakness is not where God leaves you.

It is often where He meets you.

    In This Episode, You’ll Hear

Why surface level pep talks are not enough in hard seasons

How to tell when you need truth instead of motivation

Why feeling weak does not mean your faith is weak

What Scripture says about strength, courage, grace, and standing firm

How to use Bible verses as an anchor when your emotions feel loud

Why Christian encouragement has to be deeper than positivity

What it means to stand firm when life still feels uncertain

A closing prayer for the woman who feels tired, shaky, and overwhelmed

    Bible Verses Mentioned

Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
