    Following the murder of Renée Good in early January, ICE, Donald Trump's Gestapo, has once again murdered an innocent citizen with impunity. And once again, not only is the White House refusing to investigate the matter, but they are daring to label the citizen a ‘terrorist,’ when the images clearly show that the victim, Alex Pretty, was only trying to help a woman who had been violently thrown to the ground by an ICE agent.

    The United States is rushing towards N4Z1SM and, with it, the whole world is likely to follow suit in building an horrific future that we managed to avoid in the last century. And the democratic governments of the world are not speaking out or denouncing the horror of what is happening in North America, maintaining their usual double standards and timid attitude that characterises them so well, especially the European Union and its governments.

    But if democratic governments fail to act, we will have to respond from global civil society. WE CANNOT ALLOW OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN TO LIVE ON A PLANET RULED BY N4Z1SM.

    Between the 28 August and the 29 September 2021, the director and host of this programme, Grian Cutanda, and another Irish activist based in Spain, Karen Killeen, carried out a hunger strike to raise awareness of the climate and extinction crisis, and to demand that the Spanish government take drastic and urgent action on this problem.The hunger strike, organised by the Extinction Rebellion social movement in Britain within the Earth Fast global campaign, began with the fast for the Earth of more than 400 people in 26 countries, and the indefinite hunger strike of 5 activists in Britain in front of the British parliament, joined by 7 more in Germany two days later in a parallel campaign in front of the Reichstag.     The news that the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), one of whose sections is the so-called Gulf Stream, is likely to come to a halt in the medium term, although it has not received the attention it needs in the media, has at least had some impact on the media and the public. In this programme we explain what this ocean current is and what role it plays and what the effects of its stopping could be, all from the point of view of physicist Antonio Turiel, from the Institute of Marine Sciences in Barcelona, at the Spanish National Research Council.
