Turn the lights down. It's past two in the morning, and somewhere out in the static a voice is reading a list of names — brilliant scientists, every one of them dead or vanished, and not one the way the paperwork claims.

At its heart: Amy Eskridge. The 34-year-old Huntsville researcher chasing anti-gravity and exotic propulsion, who texted friends a month before her death — "if you see any report that I killed myself, I most definitely did not." Weeks later she was gone, ruled a suicide. Her family says the ruling is true. Her own words say otherwise. We hold both, honestly, and let you decide.
