What do Autonomous Vehicles and NJ TRANSIT have in common? AVATAR, or Autonomous Vehicle Assessment, Testing And Research, Pilot, allowed transportation professionals to experience autonomous vehicles in a secure environment and better understand how we can utilize this technology to solve first mile/last mile transit gaps.
