About this listen

At Modest Miracles, we believe in the power of everyday conversations. We connect with people from all walks of life who have inspiring stories to share—stories that can guide and uplift others. Many of us feel alone, as if we’re facing life’s challenges by ourselves. But our message is simple: you are not alone. More often than not, others have faced similar struggles and found a way through. No matter the situation, there is always a way out—if you're willing to seek it. You don’t have to face it alone; help and hope are always within reach.

  • Three Peaks, Two Generations, One Purpose
    Nov 17 2025

Welcome to Modest Miracles, where we explore the quiet strength behind extraordinary journeys.

In today’s episode, I sit down with two remarkable men — Ronik and Kaushikbhai — who recently took on a challenge that’s as physical as it is deeply personal: climbing three of East Africa’s highest peaks.

For Ronik, this journey began as a climb up Kilimanjaro but evolved into something far greater — a tribute to his late father and a mission to raise awareness for three causes close to his heart: Dementia UK, Stroke Association UK, and OneCause UK.

Alongside him is Kaushikbhai, age 65, whose presence on these mountains proves that age is not a limit — it’s an attitude. His discipline, mindset, and quiet resilience show us that it’s never too late to begin again or to push beyond what we believe is possible.

Together, their story is about grief and growth, legacy and longevity, and the way mountains have a way of both humbling us and healing us.

So take a breath, lean in — this is Three Peaks, Two Generations, One Purpose.

  • One Step at a Time: Kelvin's Story of Survival and Healing
    Aug 9 2025

In this episode, we sit down with Kelvin, a hiking guide who has walked through some of life’s darkest valleys from losing both parents young, to living on the streets, to facing the crushing weight of hopelessness. But his story didn’t end there.
Through the healing power of nature, Kelvin rebuilt his life one step at a time. Today, he leads others on hikes that are less about the summit and more about finding peace, courage, and connection along the way.

If you’ve ever felt lost, stuck, or wondered if you could begin again, this conversation will remind you that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
