    Diana Matheson has made over 200 appearances for Canada on the world stage, and scored the goal that secured Team Canada’s bronze medal in women's soccer at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Since her retirement in 2021, Diana has used her love of soccer and sport to fuel her next endeavor - developing the Northern Super League, a women’s professional soccer league in Canada. She and Arianne discuss building the next generation of soccer talent in Canada, the power and importance of Women's sport, and her life after retirement.

  • Paige Crozon: Motherhood as an elite athlete

    Paige Crozon is a member of Canada’s powerhouse women’s 3X3 team, but her journey to the top wasn’t straightforward. After having her daughter, she discovered that some people and organizations were hesitant to take a chance on a single Mom. She took that experience in stride, maintaining her love for the sport and sharing it with others at the Living Skies Indigenous Basketball League. Today, her teammates and coach are integral members of her support system, and her daughter, Poppy, often joins them on the road to watch her Mom play, while Paige is an advocate for a sport system that supports parents and caregivers.

  • Alannah Yip: Appreciating your strength

    As one of the first athletes to compete in sport climbing at the Olympic level during the sport’s debut at Tokyo 2020, Alannah Yip is used to overcoming challenges. Alannah uses her platforms not only to share her own journey, but to spotlight issues that are important to her- and advocate for change. One issue that’s particularly important to her is combatting the ‘lighter is better’ mentality that is pervasive in sport climbing. After being diagnosed with alopecia at the end of 2023, she made the decision to shave her head and enter the climbing gym bald, sharing her diagnosis and journey on Instagram. She and host Arianne Jones discuss this experience, the work being done to ensure that sport climbing is safe and inclusive for all, and much more.

  • Skylar Park: The power of sport

    Skylar Park has taekwondo in her blood, earning her black belt at age 7. She, along with her siblings, grew up in the dojang where her parents taught. Today, her father is still her coach, and will be by her side for her second Olympic Games at Paris 2024. Skylar sees herself as much more than an athlete, and is passionate about the transformative power of fashion. She doesn’t want to be put in a box, and shares with host Arianne Jones how she embraces every part of herself, inside and outside sport.
