Wakefield Prison is located in the UK and home to some of the worst of the worst offenders. Names like Robert Maudsley who required his own cell to be built within the prison after killing multiple inmates. But he isn't alone. Originally Wakefield started out in the late 1500's a jail and holding site. After expansion and multiple escapes, an entirely new prison was built, keeping the same name. Now Wakefield is a maximum security location. Those within are over 61% child/women rapes. For that there is always a potential of violence from inmates with other sentences. In 2025 alone, two inmates with child cases were killed by others.
