Attacking suicide directly with disciples of Jesus Christ

Our mission is to confront the crisis of suicide by pointing people to Jesus Christ through prayer, Scripture, and compassionate presence. We provide Gospel-centered support to those struggling with suicidal thoughts, standing watch, intervening when necessary, and helping connect individuals to ongoing care.

Our objective is to help people struggling with suicide follow Christ, replacing their despair with His divine purpose. Transforming their darkest moment into a beacon of His light, as they encounter GOD'S MONUMENTAL GRACE!

SWORD SHARPENING

Our primary podcast episodes are called SWORD SHARPENING and here is more about Sword Sharpening:

“It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’” — Matthew 4:4 (LSB)

Sword Sharpening is a daily Scripture reading from Monumental Grace. Our objective is to help people struggling with suicide follow Christ, replacing their despair with His divine purpose. Transforming their darkest moment into a beacon of His light, as they encounter God’s Monumental Grace!

This podcast is designed to help believers know the Word of God deeply through faithful repetition and disciplined meditation on Scripture.

We are following the method commonly taught by the late John MacArthur, the Pastor-Teacher of Grace Community Church. Each month we remain in a single book of the Bible, reading it repeatedly day after day—not to rush through Scripture, but to slow down, observe carefully, think biblically, and hide God’s Word in our hearts. (John MacArthur's sermons and books can be found at gty.org)

As the same passages are read consistently, themes become clearer, doctrine becomes more grounded, discernment is sharpened, and the truth of Scripture begins to settle deeply into the mind and soul.

Whether you are driving to work, studying with your Bible open, praying in the quiet hours of the morning, or seeking to build a daily discipline in the Word, Sword Sharpening exists to help you remain watchful, steadfast, and rooted in biblical truth.

Each episode features:
• Daily reading of a single book of Scripture
• Repeated monthly immersion in God’s Word
• Scripture-focused listening without distraction
• A steady rhythm for meditation and spiritual discipline
• Christ-centered encouragement rooted in biblical truth

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword…” — Hebrews 4:12 (LSB)

Stand firm in the faith. Keep your sword sharp.
