In this episode we meet Joanna Banks, CEO at Panjam Investment Limited. Ms Banks, grew up in Cooper’s Hill in rural Jamaica. Aged 16, at her own insistence, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend boarding school. She later studied Systems Engineering at University of Pennsylvania, interned at John Deere in Illinois and achieved an MBA at University of Chicago before working at Exxon Mobil in Texas. Despite her travels and experience in the US, her goal always remained to return to Jamaica and build a successful career at home. This is her story.
