Ever tried fasting from giving unsolicited advice? Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! 🤯
I recently challenged myself to a fast with my church, and it made me rethink my habits. Besides skipping sugar, I decided to stop giving advice unless asked.
At first, it felt impossible! How could I not share my thoughts when I see friends struggling? 🤔 But then I realized that sometimes, people need to figure things out on their own.
Being a listener instead of a talker has been tough but rewarding. I’m learning to let others navigate their own paths, while still being there as a support.
So here’s my insight: sometimes, stepping back is the best way to help.
