We chat about balancing a professional sporting career with family life, the realities of being away from home, and what it’s like moving interstate with your partner and kids when footy calls (and add a little Covid 19 pandemic into the mix). Sam shares what those transitions look like behind the scenes, and how family becomes your anchor when everything else is changing.

We also get into the crossover between elite sport and parenting: discipline, routine, resilience and how those skills translate (or sometimes don’t) when you’re dealing with kids instead of teammates.
