In 1963, Scientists, Yechiel Gaoni and Raphael Mechoulam reported that the main active component of cannabis is THC, and that it "acts on the brain by muscling...and hijacking parts of it ...for reasons best known to the plants".  Today we follow Alice in Wonderland and go down the rabbit hole to find out how THC connects to the mind and body and creates that awsome buzz, and (what you've been waiting to hear) why it can be actually good for the ageing brain.
