    In the first episode of Navigate the Narrative: Your Guide to Media Literacy, we’ll seek to understand how news consumption is changing within a generation of people who grew up with the internet.


    Throughout this episode, Oliver Winn and Lily Kristanto speak to Social Media Lead for the ABC Abbir Dib, who tells us about the limitations of sourcing news from social media. We also speak to Tanya Notley, researcher at Western Sydney university, who did a survey on young Australians's news habits.


    We discuss the expert opinions in a way that is digestible, comparing them with random interviews from people we talked to in the city of Melbourne.
