Some of you know I’m walking through the season of my campaign for Sheriff of Hancock County.

The deeper I go, the stronger the opposition becomes. It’s not always from a declared opponent; sometimes it’s quieter resistance, unethical moves, and personal attacks from people who simply don’t want to see change or new leadership. Sometimes it’s perceived as just plain darkness and evil. As we get closer to May 5, it seems to ramp up.

You know, life has a way of throwing curveballs at us—job losses, health struggles, family tensions, or even the bigger picture stuff like economic turns or global unrest.

It can feel like the ground is shifting under our feet, and we’re left wondering, “What’s next? How do I navigate this?” But here’s the good news: Our Heavenly Father isn’t caught off guard by any of it.

He has a plan, and it’s one that’s filled with hope and purpose. We’re going to unpack that today, drawing straight from Scripture to see how we can lean into His wisdom and find unshakable peace.
