  • HDR Ep. 27 - The One Where Josh Sings at the End
    Apr 20 2026
What's nuts about this episode - is we're pushing a lot of boundaries without even knowing it. I mean it's never brought up once...but these audio tests, music teases, extended soundboard moments, singing - it blends in so naturally you'd never know we were making it up on the spot and testing and experimenting and growing. We're all on that journey. Come join us. @HotDadRadio - shoot us a note to get into our secret clubhouse....(it's our private discord).

  • HDR: the Gang Went To Portland, Part 2
    Mar 5 2026
Post-Portland Premier of My Dog: the Paradox the gang gets together to recap a wild weekend of celebrating our buddy, Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, a full name/title that we're required to paste in full every time we talk about him. Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, got to present his animated short film in front of a sold-out crowd at the Newmark Theatre with Imaginary planet. Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, sat down with Allie Brosh, the New York Times bestselling author and creator of Hyperbole and a Half. We weren't required to write that title. We wanted to, Allie is the best. Anyways, back to Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal, well he, Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal that is worked on this incredible short with Imaginary Planet. It was a blast. Truly. We love Matt Inman, Eisner-Award winning winner of the Oatmeal. We also went to Sassy's and hung out with our buddy, Pete! Shoot us a DM at @HotDadRadio with any questions/concerns.

  • HDR: the Gang (minus Ryan) Goes to Portland, Part 1.
    Feb 19 2026
On this episode of HotDadRadio - is that a corny way to start a podcast description? I never know. I've written what is at this point hundreds of these and not ONCE have I heard feedback from a listener about "hey, I read the podcast description and man, I'm so glad I did, it changed everything. I was going to ignore this piece of performance art disguised as three emotionally stable men talking about their place in the world and society within, but then I read "on this episode of HotDadRadio the guys....I dunno, talk about the harvard prison experiment" and just had to tune in. NEVER HAS THAT HAPPENED. And I don't even know who SEO is...why am I writing for a musician I don't even listen to? Any way - Portland, the Oatmeal, vacation prep, and a cliff-hanger...in that order? Enjoy the abrupt ending! @HotDadRadio on IG

  • Jan 8th, 2026 - Noodlin' w/ Josh
    Jan 9 2026
You’re reading the part of the podcast description that appears on every episode. This is where we establish vibes, talk in the third person, and politely remind you that this show exists in more than one place. Noodlin’ with Josh is a conversational podcast about creativity, career detours, internet culture, and the strange connective tissue between work, art, and modern life. Sometimes it’s a solo spiral, sometimes it’s a guest, sometimes it’s a roundtable. It always starts with curiosity and ends wherever the thread snaps. If you’d like to follow the show, lurk, or accidentally become part of the extended universe, here’s where to do that: • Instagram: @NoodlinwithJosh • Twitter: @joshweavr • Bluesky: @joshweaver.bsky.social • Twitch: @HotDadRadio Live streams, bonus conversations, and cross-show experiments happen regularly, so following along is the best way to catch the full experience.

  • HotDadRadio - Episode 22 - Where Ya Been?!
    Dec 24 2025
Josh and Derek dig into money, success, and what people should do once they’ve “made it,” unpacking why hoarding wealth feels broken and why giving back should be part of the endgame. That spirals into Josh teasing his upcoming 40th birthday roast, which promises radical honesty, emotional casualties, and zero safe words. From there, the conversation swings to fantasy football championship chaos, league ethics, and the urgent need for a proper trophy or belt, plus a truly cruel loser punishment involving Packers gear. The episode closes with music documentary talk, a very casual Christina Applegate sighting in Laurel Canyon, Counting Crows discourse, and half-serious plans to hit a bowl game or rivalry matchup in the future. Equal parts reflection, rivalry, and unearned confidence. Just how we like it.
