    Ronni Kahn AO is a social entrepreneur and founder of Australia’s leading food rescue charity, OzHarvest. Ronni is a passionate advocate and activist renowned for disrupting the food waste landscape in Australia. She leads with purpose and conviction in the spaces of food security and sustainability while also appearing regularly in national media. Her mission to fight food waste and feed hungry people is supported by some of the world's finest chefs. Ronni is an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) and was named Australian Local Hero of the Year. Her journey is the subject of feature film, Food Fighter directed by Dan Goldberg. In 2020 she co-authored her biography; A Repurposed Life, which was nominated for an ABIA award for Biography Book of the Year.

    Today guest is Olivia Bange from The Crop Capsular Company

    Olivia Bange grew up in Narrabri, NSW, and has always had a keen interest in agricultural innovation. She started with The Crop Capsules Company as a Biological Agronomist in 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from University of Queensland. During her time with Crop Capsules Olivia has learned the importance of insect dynamics in cropping systems and the potential that biological control can play for pest control, whilst remaining economical for growers.

    She regularly communicates with industry professionals and current and potential clients sharing insights into biological control. Olivia conducts trials and field demonstrations to deepen her knowledge, educate others, and refine techniques and protocols for inoculative biocontrol options in large-scale cropping operations. Her passion is being in the field, where she has learned about the key differences between released beneficial insects, natural beneficial populations and host pests.

    Hamish is a 5th generation mixed cattle and cropping farmer from Central NSW, spending a season at Auvergne Station, Timber Creek, NT in 1996. After representing the Beef industry through NSW Farmers Assoc and the Cattle Council of Australia, Hamish started Pairtree Intelligence. Through his experiences on-farm and through industry representation, Hamish saw that compliance and reporting was going to cripple agriculture, unless there were ways to recognise daily management activities outside the farm gate.

    Pairtree allows Farmers to connect everything to one spot for aggregated insights about their to operation and then enables them to work with Agribusiness and the supply chain to share information/ data that is owned and controlled by Farmer.     Today guest is Dan Kittridge from Bionutrient Food Association.

    Dan Kittredge has been an organic farmer for more than 30 years and is the founder and executive director of the Bionutrient Food Association (BFA), a non-profit whose mission is to “increase quality in the food supply.” Known as one of the leading proponents of “nutrient density,” Dan works to demonstrate the connections between soil health, plant health, and human health. Out of these efforts was born the Bionutrient Institute, which has engineered a prototype of a hand-held consumer spectrometer designed to test nutrient density at point of purchase. Via the Bionutrient Meter, the goal is to empower consumers to choose for nutrient quality and thereby leverage economic incentives to drive full system regeneration.
