Inspired to talk about it after listening to Emma Chamberlain's podcast where she revealed her own addiction, Brooke shares that she has concealed her addiction from the internet out of embarrassment but wants to raise awareness for others who may be going through a similar struggle. She talks about how hearing someone around her age discuss their struggles with nicotine addiction could have guided her away from starting in the first place. She reflects on how she initially justified vaping as different from other forms of nicotine use due to its fruity flavors, but now realizes they are all equally addictive and harmful. Brooke offers advice not to judge or pressure others who are addicted and emphasizes that individuals will quit when they're ready and that pressuring them only makes them feel worse.
