    In 1998 Xander spills some hot gossip to mum and reveals his driving instructor Alan made him wear a strap-on and take him up the bum (probably a joke).  Mum gets a few hours overtime to help out with Dad's impending redundancy, and finally buys a hymn book. 

    In 2020 Jeanine tells us we need to concentrate more on the letters as we keep missing Mum's comedy moments. Claire tells us how to get six pack abs in 3 easy steps, and says she is "fine" with her grief at the moment, but Xander suspects there is more to say than she is letting on...

    In 1998 Mum goes shopping and meets Janet B-Hee for coffee.  Meanwhile in 2020... Claire describes the vulva so Xander knows how many holes there are and Xander makes Claire uncomfortable by revealing that he once snogged his Spanish teacher.  Probably the bumpiest ride yet!
