Quick Take - Examining what Critical Race Theory (CRT) actually is, and understanding why it is an important school of study, primarily for graduate students in the dominant society, who see themselves are fair-minded and interested in social justice.  

The Truth About…the invisible Black American Man, (or examining, through examples, the diminished status of the average Black man in modern American society).  In light of the cowardly Oscar 'slap', we can see that, because Chris Rock doesn't fit the bill as a desirable 'Black Buck', Mr. Rock was initially ridiculed and disregarded instead of defended and assisted when assaulted by the buffoonish thug, Will Smith.  We will examine what this says about the 'average' Black man's status as an unprotected, and largely invisible person in American society, and what we should be demanding instead.

The Truth About Repairing the Black family, or understanding what it will take to start re-building our communities.  Black men and women are not marrying one another, or starting families, primarily due to a lack of resources, opportunities and trust.  Only one of those factors - trust of one another - is almost completely under our control, and yet is being withheld from us, by us.  Why is that?  Let's examine some of the reasons.

What's in a name?  In this episode, we will explore the history of the term 'racism' and the problematic truth about the man who originated that term.  Also we will touch on some of the philosophies of white supremacy, and why it is essential that Black people define for ourselves those values and principles that we hold dear.

The second part further examines how beneficial the 'white card' has been for Americans throughout history, and explores some ways Black people can combat the negative ramifications of suffering under their privilege.
