Tonight we talked about the significance of The Table before continuing our walk through Genesis. The Lord was the one who closed the door behind Noah. Doors protect, doors separate, and doors connect. What do we do when a door closes and the new door has not yet opened? What do we do when we want to take something, or someone, from a previous season into a new season...but the door closes on them? Let's grow up into a mature church family that understands that we serve a sovereign God who alone ordains times and seasons...and doors.
