Various factors in Georgia's upcoming primary election will challenge the integrity of the state's voting processes, especially considering the social distancing measures and restrictions that must be enforced by COVID-19. In this podcast, I had the opportunity to discuss issues concerning statewide-implemented voting machines and the importance of the upcoming election with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Georgia's Community Engagement Intern and local Atlanta high school student, Anusha. 

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to threaten American lives, another major issue has been racism affecting Asian and African American communities. Such discrimination has been reinforced by poor rhetoric from the media and politicians, especially the president. In a discussion of how Americans can strive to combat these forms of racism and discriminatory behavior overall, I spoke with fellow student David and Professor Richard Weissbourd. The coronavirus pandemic has overwhelmed U.S. society and resulted in a number of deaths and cases. However, these severe circumstances could have easily been prevented if the president had appropriately communicated the virus's threat to the public. To help me discuss the president's inadequate response to the outbreak and its effects on our country, I sat down with fellow student Will. Thank you to all of those who helped out!
