On today’s episode, we’re gonna talk about political persecution and dangerous political precedents in the United States. This goes right along with our previous episode on the slide into authoritarianism, which I would encourage you to listen to if you haven't already.

I know that a lot of my episodes give the appearance that I’m siding with or defending the right or the Republicans, but I would like to remind my listeners that I am a political independent and I call it as I see it. A number of the things I like to point out, is how both our parties in this country are beyond corrupt and are tearing our country apart.  I also am wanting to continually point out how we’re actively vilifying any political opposition to one party, and how we’re greatly sliding down a likely unstoppable slope into authoritarianism, civil war, and political persecution.

On today’s episode, we’re gonna talk about a rather divisive and distressing topic, because it needs to be discussed. There have been a number of words thrown around more and more in the past few years with regards to the United States. Civil War, Failing Democracy, and Authoritarianism. Today we’re gonna discuss the slide into authoritarianism. As always, I would ask that you do your own research on this topic, and seek multiple points of view, not just ones you agree with.
