    Everybody loves crazy Reddit stories, we've all used it in one way or another - it's a bottomless knowledge pool. We were looking through a few AITA (Am I The A**hole) and TIFU (Today I F*cked up) subreddits that we couldn't pass up.

     

    Side note, we talk about anime spoilers on Attack on Titan (AoT) since it's wrapped up its 10-year saga. Not sure what to do with ourselves after this but we briefly discuss the ending.

     

    First up on an AITA subreddit, we discuss if you are a POS for not following your friend out of a concert they got kicked out? The user said that their friend didn't follow the simple rule of no photos/videos which got her booted out. Sure, the friend broke the rules, but does that make the Reddit user a heartless friend or just a good rule follower?

     

    Next on the AITA docket, we talk of this Reddit user wanting to elope in Europe BUT wanted to host a small reception when they return so the family won't get FOMO. The mom is a narcissist, doing the most trying to make them feel uncomfortable about their wishes by trying to include the siblings in the guilt trip. Narcissistic behavior is never cool but we all have at least one narcissist in our lives. Is it a jerk move, or simply a want for an intimate ceremony by eloping?

     

    Then, brace yourself for the TIFU story of a man who faced a bean-related crisis when left alone and hungry. His family left on vacation and he made a huge pot full of beans. Instead of cooking meals like a normal person, he decided to eat a massive vat of beans over 3 days which led him straight to the ER. That's not all, there was a horrible incident in the E.R. that technically would be "christening" his young doctor into the healthcare system - it's almost a rite of passage. Anyway, it's a warning of culinary desperation and the lengths one will go to avoid cooking.

     

    Finally, another TIFU Reddit post about a guy who accidentally called his guest, who happened to be a friend-of-a-friend, a weight-related insult. A harmless nickname for his dog turned into awkwardness. Although the user tried to recover by making a group announcement about his dog using the nickname, can he recover from the verbal stumble, or is this party destined for uncomfortable silence?

    It's your money! How will you spend it? You either got it or don't, there’s no denying the world revolves around money and the majority of us are chasing it to try not to blow it. Today's episode, we talk about cold hard cash, from choosing 500K or dinner with Jay-Z, donating at checkout, tipping for services: haircuts, waitstaff, bartenders, etc., and how much you spend on dates!  You've heard of the viral internet challenge, if this is even a true challenge, of choosing half a million dollars or having dinner with 'One Take Hov', Jay-Z. Now this allegedly started appearing around the net in 2017 but it keeps resurfacing now. He recently had an interview with CBS Mornings host Gayle King and settled the viral debate, "You gotta take the money. Take the 500k, go buy some albums, and listen to the albums. It's all there." Mind you his net worth is 2.5 billion and a true entrepreneur.  Speaking of charitable causes, let's talk about giving donations at checkout. You’ve probably had this happen while shopping - stores ask if you want to round up or add a couple of bucks to your total for a charity. Now there's nothing wrong with asking for charity donations since not everything can be run by volunteers and it does cost money to run a non-profit. You just need to be aware of how much each organization is taking and keep in mind that these stores are almost always writing your donation off in their tax deductions.  We discuss tips for services, how much we tip for takeout, restaurants, rideshares, and at the bar; are you tipping enough or at all? Also, we cover when tipping became a thing in the United States and the dark side of the origin including the 1938 New Deal on Federal Minimum Wage.  Last but not least, how much are you spending on dates? Dating is expensive. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, but here are some factors to consider when determining how much to spend on a date: your budget, type of date, location, expectations, and reciprocity.     Celebrities! Love them or hate them, there’s no denying they are pretty entertaining to watch, especially when they start getting into fights with each other for love, music, or fighting the law itself.   We normally don’t go down the rabbit hole of drama or spilling tea, but there’s been a lot of drama with celebrities lately. From YouTube celebrity boxing, marital drama, and chart records, to celebrities in legal trouble, there’s no shortage of entertainment when it comes to these multi-millionaires.   Well, in this episode, we talk about Logan Paul fighting Dillon Danis and the build-up to the fight with all its drama as well as the insanity that was the actual fight! Apparently, Dylan Danis thought boxing rules had changed, and thought tackling people to the ground or putting them in a guillotine headlock/chokehold was okay, but little did he know that the last move cost him the match, or did it? Oh yeah, KSI fought that night too vs Tommy Fury and homie was not too happy about the results. Someone’s a little baby and a sore loser.   Now there are different types of fights out there and the one we talked about next is one between spouses. Ever heard of a small-time celebrity named Will Smith? What about his super caring and very understanding wife Jada Pinkett Smith? No? After the whole Chris Rock slap, Jada has decided to let the world know that she and Will had been separated for over seven years. She was extremely shocked to see Will act the way he did at the Oscars and on top of that to call her his wife. Yeah, you’re not going to want to miss that part.   From there we discussed a less physical fight. A fight for the number one spot at the top of the Billboard Charts. Drizzy Drake currently has the number one song on Billboard’s Hot 100 list, tying with Michael Jackson for the male solo artist with the most singles that have topped the list. Now is it because Drake is better than Michael Jackson? We think that’s a hard no. Some speculate that the only reason why Drake is as big as he is is because of social media, features, streaming, and the internet, and wasn't constrained to only hard copies and live TV appearances like Michael Jackson. If Michael Jackson had all of those channels at his disposal, there would be no catching up to Michael.   Last but not least, is the legal fight in the courtroom. Mr. Alec Baldwin is facing some pretty serious charges, involuntary manslaughter to be exact, and not just one count but two. While on the movie set of Rust, Alec Baldwin accidentally shoots and unalives the cinematographer on set with a prop gun. Should he be charged? Is any of the blame his?     Israel is at War with Palestine terrorist group Hamas. What if another war, a big one, breaks out, catapulting us into World War 3(WW3 or WWIII)? Several people are saying we are on the brink of a Third World war. So to see where we’re at right now, let’s talk about a few things that have happened in the past few weeks. For one, Israel and the Palestinian people are currently at war. A Palestinian terrorist organization named, Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 07, 2023. Now the conflict between these two is not a new one as Israel and Palestine have been at war with each other for almost a century and some say even longer than that. Most of it has been a lot of back-and-forth on who actually owns the land but there are more nuances to it than just that. “There will never be peace in the Middle East.” The constant fighting over land, living conditions, oppression, the Gaza Strip, and so much more.   Now this war has gotten a lot bigger than anyone could have expected and the United States can’t get enough voluntary military members to join its forces so they’re taking action and are talking about possibly reinstating the mandatory draft because things are heating up around the world over this Israel and Palestinian war that most countries are also partaking in this mandatory drafting.   Media censorship is real and it happens everywhere! There’s so much content that gets taken down from platforms for misinformation or hate speech when it isn't. Now, if they can't find a good reason to take your content down but still want to punish you, they'll just suppress it to where it reaches no one. The news is no different. If you look at the news coverage on this issue between Israel and Hamas, news organizations are picking different sides to elaborate on which begs the question, “What’s their angle?” We know media censorship can play a powerful role in any type of situation, whether it is political, media, news, or war.   Let’s say that this war got so bad that it became a World War III type of situation. What would the world look like after the war? What would life after the war be like? Will we be starting completely over with most of the population pretty much wiped out of the planet or will there be something left for us to rebuild? We’re talking about potential nuclear warfare here. You won't believe it, but Tupac's killer has finally been convicted after 27 long years, and guess what? The truth was right under our noses the whole time. So why did it take nearly three decades to crack this case wide open? I mean, Keefe D practically confessed in interviews and documentaries multiple times. What gives?

    We also venture into other celebrity deaths like Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Chester Bennington, Michael Jackson, and more. Why did they all depart from this world so young? Isn't it a bit eerie that most, if not all of them, were going through incredibly tough times in their personal lives just before their untimely deaths? And let's not forget the tantalizing possibility that some of these celebs might have faked their own deaths to escape their problems. Take Tupac, for instance; rumors persist that he's living it up in Cuba. Remember that peculiar beer commercial with Tupac, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Bruce Lee, and other late icons hanging out on an island in the middle of nowhere? It could've been just harmless fun, but as we always say, the media has a knack for hiding the truth in plain sight.

    Ever heard of the "27 Club"? It's a captivating theory that suggests celebrities are destined for stardom only until they hit the age of 27, after which their fame and fortune come crashing down as they leave this world in tragic ways. But why does this happen, and who's pulling the strings behind the scenes? You guessed it, the Illuminati. Now, not everyone believes in it, but we'll admit, it seems oddly plausible. Many celebrities flaunt the all-seeing eye and drop hints about the Illuminati right in front of us. Plus, if there's a way to exchange your soul for fame and fortune, it's likely going to cost a pretty penny, if not your life.

    Is World War 3 around the corner? From the Ukraine and Russia conflict to China's potential invasion of Taiwan, every day it feels like we are getting closer and closer to WW3 and the United States has its nose in all of it. In the days of the Roman Empire, those people felt untouchable and unstoppable. Could this be the reason that all of the world's superpowers will meet their downfall as well? Now, we all know about the Ukraine and Russia conflict. But what’s it all really about, and how did this war start? Should the United States be involved? Is it even our problem? From oil deposits to the involvement of NATO, or even just a temperamental power trip, we cover it here. Then there's China and Taiwan, the Republic of China vs. the People's Republic of China. Why are they in conflict? What’s the root of the issue, and again, should the United States get involved? We understand that Taiwan broke off from China and has been independent since 1991 but China wanting them back just because "that's how it should be" doesn't seem right. It seems like the United States likes to be the police of the world. Our involvement along with these two potential conflicts could possibly throw us into a Third World War. There are a lot of questions here, but in this episode, we'll cover it all. Oh, and there’s an internet trend going around where you ask your significant other about the Roman Empire and if they ever think about it. We discussed this at length and compared the days of the Roman Empire to the times we are living in now. Will history repeat itself again in the same way that the Romans met their demise?     Zombies are real and they’re here! From one-cent burgers Simpsons reference to possible new virus outbreaks, and an emergency alert system that can trigger something in us through a frequency? We all might be in trouble! Who would've thought that we would be experiencing something fictional in real life? Not to mention the government recently had a debriefing, that was leaked, confirming zombies were real! So yeah! Maybe don’t eat the cheap burger, put on a tinfoil hat, and turn off your phone on October 4th to avoid the frequencies. Be on the lookout for any new pandemics because it seems like they're trying to turn this all into The Walking Dead...or I Am Legend... Are we crazy for thinking this way? Well in this episode we get into all of these topics and more! This was definitely a fun conversation to have and we know that y'all will enjoy it.

    Oprah Winfrey and Dwayne The Rock, Johnson started a charity to help out the people of Maui but something is off about this whole "kind" gesture of theirs. Speaking on the whole Hawaii situation, FEMA is apprehended for their actions regarding the fires and inhumane practices, as well as more than 28,000 children still missing! You're going to wanna stick around for that.

    September is full of events and conspiracies! There’s a bunch of speculation that on September 23rd a meteor is going to cause three days of darkness. Is this the end of times? It’s weird that all of these movies and TV shows make references and have catastrophic, world-ending, events on September 23. Could this be our last September? Oh yeah and since we’re talking about September.... 9/11 was 22 years ago!! Do you know all the facts about 9/11? Well, we don’t, but there are so many conspiracies to dive into regarding the planes, buildings, and motives involved with this devastating event.

    And last, but certainly not least our president might be in trouble… It’s suspected that he has been taking money from foreign governments in the form of bribes to sell secrets from the US. If this is true, Joey Boy might have messed up and is now being impeached.
