I was in my blind overlooking a game trail when I first saw it. I got it in my optic's sight, easy shot, 60 yards, but I didn't shoot because the head didn't look right. It was at least an 8 point buck, but it's mouth was too big and the snout looked too long. I could see fangs peeking out of the front of it's lips, just behind the nose. When it turned toward me, it looked more canine than anything else with the eyes towards the front instead of on the sides like a normal deer but the worse thing about the whole encounter was that even though it was looking right at me, it didn't run. At the southern part of Wisconsin, southwest of Milwaukee, there is the small town of Elkhorn. For all intents and purposes, Elkhorn is a picturesque little place, with the nickname Christmas Card Town since before WWII. Yet, on the outskirts of this quaint, quiet town, is said to live a monster which lurks on the dark roads, in the sparse trees and even in some of the neighboring areas. Albert Einstein once said, “Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the energy you want and you cannot help but get that reality.” Matching the frequency of energy seems a daunting task to us but is it really? This just in, what were thought for decades to be mythical creatures called Gnomes turn out to be something else entirely. Swiss folklore have long talked about small magical creatures called Kabouters which seem to have been slowly replaced by what we now think of as yard ornaments.
