  • Matthew 4 - Our High Priest Who Understands
    Feb 15 2026

From the tabernacle to the wilderness, this episode traces the powerful thread connecting Israel’s High Priest to Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, the High Priest stood as mediator and intercessor—representing the people before God and making atonement on their behalf (Exodus 28; Leviticus 16). But Hebrews 4:15–16 reveals the greater reality: Jesus is our true and better High Priest—one who sympathizes with our weaknesses because He was tempted in every way, yet without sin.

We walk through Matthew 4 and Jesus’ wilderness temptation, exploring how Satan attacks with comfort, pride, and power—and how Christ answers every temptation with obedience and the Word of God. Far from weakness, the wilderness reveals spiritual strength, trust in the Father, and unshakable holiness.

If you’ve ever wondered whether God truly understands your struggle, this lesson reminds us: He does. And because He does, we can draw near with confidence to the throne of grace.

  • Matthew 3
    Feb 9 2026

Before highways and megaphones, kings sent heralds—official messengers who went ahead to announce their arrival, call people to prepare, and clear the road for a ruler worthy of honor. In Matthew 3, John the Baptist steps into that ancient role, not to prepare the way for a teacher or a reformer, but for God Himself.

In this episode, we walk through the historical role of a herald and why “prepare the way of the Lord” was a literal command long before it was a spiritual one. From Isaiah 40 to Matthew 3, we see how John’s life, message, and ministry were intentionally shaped by God to ready hearts for the arrival of the King. His call wasn’t soft or vague—it was clear and confrontational: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

We’ll unpack what repentance really means, why fruit matters more than religious appearance, and why John’s warnings to the Pharisees still hit uncomfortably close today. We’ll also explore the biblical imagery of trees and fruit, the danger of inherited faith without transformed lives, and the urgency of a kingdom that is both present now and coming in fullness.

Finally, we turn to the baptism of Jesus—why the sinless Son of God stepped into the water, what it means to “fulfill all righteousness,” and how this moment reveals the Father, Son, and Spirit together in perfect unity.

John wasn’t preparing people for a message—he was preparing them for a meeting with the Lord. And if Jesus truly is the King, then repentance isn’t optional. You don’t roll out a red carpet over a mess. The road has to be made ready.

  • MASSIVE GOD
    Feb 2 2026

Can God really take care of me? When life feels overwhelming, it’s easy to wonder if our problems are simply too big—even for God. In Job 38–39, God responds by revealing His unmatched power and care over creation: the animals, the earth, and every detail of our world.

In this episode, we’re invited to shift our perspective—to stop seeing a small God and start trusting the big God who holds all things together and is fully able to care for our every need.
