Rock Legends Who Changed the World and

Love Me, Please! The Story of Janice Joplin

Between August and December of 2019 I was inspired to follow Jeffrey Gaines on his tour of the Northeast and North Midwest of the United States. This was an effort to see if the changes to his performances were because he was somehow different in his performances, if I was different as a fan/audience member, or if there was a difference in seeing him perform outside of our home area of Philadelphia.

DIscussing the repercussions of independent venues closing as a result of the Covid19 Pandemic.

Discussing Stewart Copeland's comment about there being two kinds of musicians during an interview on the Drum Channel in April 2021. Also musing about when our current popular music may be considered "classical" music centuries from now.
