The third annual Chocolat Moncton festival is back, with more than a dozen cafes & restaurants offering special hot chocolate creations for the second half of February. Tune in as Kayla Gallant, co-owner of The Dandelion Café, whips up a preview of her festival entry and shares why her family-run business is taking part, while festival coordinator Amber Richards talks about the creation and purpose behind the festival.

For women and children leaving abusive situations in Greater Moncton, its the staff and volunteers of Crossroads for Women who step into their lives and walk beside them. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton helps dozens of local youth make those connections each year, matching children with volunteers who gain a different, equally important, sense of belonging in the community. Local Boys and Girls Clubs (BGCs) have been creating programs and supporting area youth for decades - but it's only recently they've decided to team up to try to increase awareness of their work. Together We Shine is an upcoming fundraising night hosted by the Greater Moncton, Riverview, and Dieppe clubs. To learn more about the event and the clubs' activities, Jenna & Tosh are joined by the three executive directors, Ashton Beardsworth, Paula Albers, and Lynda Carey.

Hockey mania is coming to Moncton! Scotiabank's Hockey Day in Canada has become an annual celebration of the sport and the communities that love it - and now it's our turn to shine. Local co-chair Michelle Duffie joins Jenna & Tosh to chat about the schedule and the hype!

On Friday, January 16 there'll be a local celebrity and alumni game at 7:30pm featuring some great names in hockey. Saturday, January 17 kicks off with a parade from the Moncton Market at 11:30am, travelling up Main Street to the Avenir Centre. Then there's lots of music, family activities, and food vendors outside and a university women's hockey game (UdM vs. Dal) at 1pm, followed by the Wildcats vs. Chicoutimi at 7pm. Running alongside it all will be a day-long live broadcast from outside the Avenir Centre with Sportsnet's Ron MacLean, Kevin Bieksa, Ken Reid, Evanka Osmak, Elliotte Friedman, David Amber, and Kelly Hrudey on Saturday, with local segments broadcast between that day's NHL games which are featuring Canadian teams.

This entrepreneurial program, offered to students from several local high schools, is creating a growing cohort of youth with an incredible sense of confidence in their potential and the skill set to pursue success across various fields.
